DROP THE DIETS AND SUPPORT WOMEN'S PROGRESS

Join us on a quest to sit down

at the table, healthy and confident.

Diet culture has been stealthily instilled in our lives so it makes perfect sense if you haven't heard of it.  It's become unhealthily normal to obsess over our weight and view health as that idealized body type plastered all over social media.  The truth is that Americans relationship with our health has to change.  Diet and weight loss programs are not working longterm and they are causing damage to our physical and mental well being.  We believe that by committing to constant inquiry and action we can create a cultural shift that starts with the individual and runs through our families and our communities.

Women and girls have been disproportionately targeted by diet and weight loss companies.  2 out of 3 women report they are unhappy with their bodies and one study found that on average, women spend up to 17 years of their lives dieting.  There are many more statistics that tell us we need to work together to solve

the problems created by diet culture, what we believe to be

the biggest plague on women's progress.

As we come together, reaching across gender, racial and cultural backgrounds, we will create systems in support of our differences, take down the barriers to lasting impact and create global regeneration.
